Pending Home Sales Are Down For 5th Consecutive Month Amid Rising Mortgage Rates

According to the monthly index released by the National Association of Realtors, pending sales dropped in the month of March to the tune of 1.2%. Their index tracks signed contracts for existing home sales (aka. properties under contract). Hence why this is a very strong indicator in terms of the direction of homes sales going forward in the subsequent months. Every agent these days will bet their own kidneys that this market is still ROARING forever, I guess we shall see, maybe I am just jaded....
